   What does career guidance entail?

  • Depending on your needs, we assess your interests, personality and aptitude strengths and abilities and compile a comprehensive  report to assist you in making your decision. We then provide professional feedback where we guide you on a journey of making one of the most important decisions of your life.

  • We can assist you in identifying your purpose in life, choosing a career that suits you and evolving your brilliance, which are key elements to personal wellness, growth, self-actualisation and financial prosperity.
  • What we offer:

    Depending on  your needs, we offer 3 different career assessments:

    Option 1 – Curiosity:

    • A comprehensive interest psychometric evaluation to determine from which occupational fields you are most likely to derive satisfaction. This assessment includes a 45-minute psychometric evaluation, a comprehensive report and a 60-minute feedback session at a cost of R1 900. As a psychological intervention, the cost will be covered if you are on a comprehensive medical aid.

       

    Option 2 – Extended Thoughts:

    • A comprehensive interest and dynamic personality psychometric evaluation to determine from which careers you would derive satisfaction and which choices would suit your personality type. This assessment includes two 45-minute psychometric evaluations, a comprehensive report and a 90-minute feedback session at the cost of R2 200. As a psychological intervention, the cost will be covered if you are on a comprehensive medical aid.

       

    Option 3 – Master Plan:

    • A full career guidance assessment which includes an ability, an interest and a personality psychometric evaluation, which will be used as an indicator to predict educational and occupational success. This assessment enables us to obtain a holistic view of your future potential. The assessment includes a 4- hour testing session which includes an aptitude psychometric evaluation and an interest and personality psychometric evaluation, a comprehensive report and a 90-minute feedback session at a cost of R3 000. As a psychological intervention, the cost will be covered if you are on a comprehensive medical aid.
     

 

Find Occupations According to Your Assessed Interest Profile:

  • Realistic – preference for work activities that are practical and concrete. This involves working outdoors, working with tools and machines and using physical skills in general. Examples include mechanics, athletics, construction or military service, etc.

  • Investigative – preference for the systematic investigation of the physical, biological, and cultural phenomena. This involves scientific work, laboratory work, engineering, etc.
  •  
  • Artistic – preference for work that involves creativity and self-expression in the creation and production of art works, literature, products or services. It includes all professions where artistic skill is required like music, literature, artwork, etc.
  •  
  • Social – preference for activities that involve working with people to inform, train, cure or develop them in some way. Examples include careers relating to education, healthcare and counselling, etc.

  • Enterprising – preference for work that involves convincing others, directing their activities or persuading others in the attainment of goals. This involves sales, managerial, business, financial work, etc.
  •  
  • Conventional – preference for work that involves organising information in a clear and orderly way. This involves activities of a clerical, computational and routine nature and includes occupations such as accountancy, business, clerical work, administration, etc.
